Our parish offers catechism classes for children in PreK through 8th grade, held on Sundays from 10:15–11:15 AM in the former parochial school building. These sessions are rooted in Scripture, sacramental preparation, and age-appropriate faith exploration.

We believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment to grow in their relationship with Christ. That’s why every catechist completes the Archdiocese’s Safe & Sacred training, which equips them in abuse prevention and maintaining healthy boundaries. In addition, all teachers are trained in CPR and choking response to ensure your child’s physical safety as well.

Children in 2nd grade prepare to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion, with guidance for both students and parents. As students continue into junior high, the program prepares them for full participation in youth ministry by 10th grade.

We also encourage parents to be active partners in their child’s faith journey. You are your child’s first and most important catechist—so we invite you to volunteer, join us weekly when you can, and help continue the conversations that begin in class at home.
